What is the ECO4 Scheme?

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) is an energy efficiency scheme designed to help reduce carbon emissions and tackle fuel poverty. The scheme supports low-income households and creates more energy efficient homes by providing funding for various measures including insulation, heating systems, and renewable energy upgrades.

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) requires energy suppliers to deliver power usage efficiency and heating measures to those on the lowest incomes and on means-tested benefits to offset emissions created by energy company emissions.
